Description

This stir-fry has a beautiful blend of flavours but is a bit spicy!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon each soy sauce, oyster sauce and cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 400g heart-smart rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 3cm piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 long red chillies, finely sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 bunch Chinese broccoli, trimmed
  • 8 fresh baby corn spears, trimmed
  • 1/3 cup salt-reduced chicken stock

Method


  1. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornflour and sugar. Add beef and toss to coat. Stand for 5 min.Heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry beef in two batches.
  2. Reheat wok, add ginger, chilli, vegetables and stock. Stir-fry for 1-2 min. Return beef and season to taste with soy sauce. Cook 1 min. Serve with udon noodles
