Description

Try this simple warming meal as we head into winter.

Time

Prep 12 min | Cook 10 min

Serves

4

Ingredients

  • 8 beef sausages
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced button mushrooms
  • 40g packet French onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream

Method


  1. Spray a frying pan with oil and brown sausages all over. Remove. Add onion and mushrooms to pan and cook for 5 min. Chop sausages and add to the pan.
  2. Sprinkle over French onion soup mix and add 1 cup water, stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 8-10 min or until sausages are cooked through completely.
  3. Stir through the sour cream and some cracked pepper. Serve with cooked pappardelle pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley.
