Australian actor Damian Hill has passed away at age 42.
Hill, who died on Saturday night as reported by news.com.au, wrote and starred in the in 2015 critically acclaimed indie film PAWNO and 2017’s West of Sunshine.
He was due to start filming a modern version of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure in Melbourne on Monday.
Hill had previously acted long-running Channel 10 soap Neighbours in 2014 as Stephen Montage.
His other acting credits include The Leftovers, Nowhere Boys and The Death and Life of Otto Bloom, Winners & Losers, Rush and McLeod’s Daughters.
He is survived by his partner Beth, daughters Jordie, 24, and Frankie, seven, and stepsons Ty, 13, and Jay, 11.
