Strangers have banded together on a London street to lift a rubbish truck off a man who had become trapped underneath it.
It’s believed the vehicle had reversed over the man in Wapping, east London on Thursday morning local time, pinning him to the ground.
Video footage taken by a local resident captured the man screaming out in pain, while the driver of the truck tries to edge the vehicle forwards to free him.
More than a dozen people can be seen running to the trapped man’s aid, working together to lift the truck and free him.
The trapped man was taken to hospital by ambulance to be treated for leg injuries.
